This simple dish brings two favorites together. The traditional green bean casserole is packed with ground beef and topped with mashed potatoes.
Combine meat and green beans in a bowl with cream of mushroom soup and set aside. Peel and cut potatoes for mashed potatoes. Boil potatoes and mash then set aside. Drain grease from hamburger, green beans and mushroom soup. Place mixture into a casserole dish then set aside. Mash potatoes and spread on top of mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes until edges are browned.
