A new and interesting version of brittle candy. The saltines layer the bottom of this treat and then a layer of homemade caramel sauce, chocolate and pecans.

Line a brownie pan with foil and spray with floured nonstick spray. Line foil with saltines, side by side. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium pan, cook butter and sugar until frothy. Pour mixture over saltines and bake 10 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts and let sit 1-2 minutes. Spread melted chips across saltines. Add holiday themed sprinkles, if desired. Cool to room temperature and place in refrigerator. Remove after one hour or more. Pull foil out of pan and break candy into pieces.
