Hot dogs are slit lengthwise, filled with cheese and chili without beans, wrapped inside refrigerated biscuits, and baked to make easy, not-as-messy sandwiches.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Slice hot dogs lengthwise down center, leaving back attached. Cut each slice of cheese into four strips. Place 2 strips inside the slit hot dogs; spoon chili over cheese. For each hot dog, place 2 biscuits side by side, overlapping slightly. Press biscuits together and flatten until hot dog will fit inside. Wrap biscuit around hot dog; seal seam and ends. Repeat with remaining hot dogs. Place on cookie sheet and bake about 14-17 minutes, until golden. Serve with desired dipping sauces.
Number of Servings: 10
Notes from the Cook: These are simple and easy. Not as messy as regular chili dogs, so great for a crowd.
