You can use black berries or cherries in place of blueberries. This is good anytime of the year just use the in season berry.

Directions:

Puree blueberries, sugar and syrup in a blender until smooth then transfer to a large bowl. Using an electric mixer, beat cream in another large bowl until firm peaks form. Add sour cream and cream cheese then beat just to blend. Fold whipped cream mixture into blueberry puree just until incorporated. Pour mixture into a large plastic bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze. About 2 hours before serving, place blueberry mixture in refrigerator to thaw slightly. Uncover blueberry mixture and top with fresh blueberries and garnish with blueberry syrup.
