These little two bite Sloppy Joe treats are easy to eat and great for the big game.
Spray a 9 inch fry pan with a nonstick cooking spray. Place ground beef in fry pan and cook, over medium heat, breaking up while cooking, until beef is absent of pink color. Stir in sauce. Set off burner to cool to room temperature. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and spray a baking sheet with the nonstick cooking spray. Open biscuit dough and flatten each biscuit to a circle of dough about 5 1/2 inches in diameter. Divide beef mixture into 8 equal portions. Divide cheese into 8 equal portions. Spoon one portion beef onto center of flattened dough, followed by one portion cheese on beef. Gather up edges of dough and pinch to seal. Place each on prepared baking sheet. When all biscuits have been filled and placed on baking sheet, brush tops of pastry with beaten egg and evenly sprinkle sesame seeds atop each, if using. Bake 14-16 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from oven to rack or serving platter. Place sandwiches on serving platter and garnish around edges with fresh season fruit, if desired.
