Yummy Xmas Cookies

A special treat your kids will love--crisp holiday cookies studded with colorful M & M's.

Ingredients:

• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 cup corn meal
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 3/4 tsp salt
• 2 1/2 cups butter
• 1 1/4 cups sugar
• 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• M & M's to taste

Directions:

Mix corn meal, baking soda, and salt. Beat butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix well. Add dry ingredients and mix until everything has combined. Add M & Ms and mix. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake in oven for 15 minutes. Let cool for 2 minutes then remove them from the baking sheets.

Number of Servings: 3 dozen

Notes from the Cook: Your baking sheets do not have to be greased. Instead of using M&M´s you can use Christmas decorations or candies.
