Chicken (or shrimp) and mushrooms are combined in a sauce made with whipping cream and parmesan cheese, served over linguini.
Melt butter in large frying pan or Dutch oven over medium heat. Saute chicken until no longer pink. Add mushrooms; cook quickly. Stir in garlic salt and lemon juice. Pour in whipping cream and Parmesan. Bring to a boil, whisking briskly until sauce thickens. Serve over cooked linguini.
Number of Servings: 6-8 servings
Notes from the Cook: You may add more Parmesan if a thicker sauce is desired. And you may also substitute shrimp for the chicken.
