Popcorn and almonds are coated with a mixture of honey and butter, and then baked until crisp and crunchy.
Heat oil in sauce pan, add popcorn. Place lid on pan, and gently shake until popcorn has popped. Pour popcorn into a 9 x 13 cake pan. Heat butter and honey in a measuring cup in microwave, and drizzle over popcorn. For almonds, heat butter and honey for almonds in a saute pan over medium heat. Add almonds and stir until they are golden brown. Add to popcorn in pan and stir. Heat oven to 300 degrees, and place pan of popcorn in oven. Stir popcorn every few minutes until golden, about 10-15 minutes. Sprinkle with salt, allow to cool slightly so it will crisp, and serve.
