Chocolate cake in the form of a cookie with a gooey melted marshmallow center. What a treat. And they are quick and simple to bake.

Chocolate Cake Cookies

Ingredients:

Directions:

To cake mix add oil, eggs, flour and mix together. Cut marshmallows in half and cut in half again. To make a cookie, form ball of dough around 1/4 of a marshmallow. Place cookies on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes. Remove tray from oven and place 1/4 marshmallow on top cookie and bake two minutes. Let cool and remove from tray. When cool mix powdered sugar and flavoring with enough water to make a thin glaze. Frost cookies using back of a teaspoon and let dry.

Number of Servings: 30 to 36

Notes from the Cook: Cookie variations are easy. For example use a lemon cake mix, cut soft lemon candies for the center and flavor glaze with lemon.
