This hot, creamy crab dip is great served with crackers or crispy baguette slices.
Combine together all ingredients except crab meat and cheddar cheese, mix well. Then fold in crab meat and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well. Divide into 6-7 oz ramkins. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, and return to oven for 5 minutes to melt cheese.

Notes from the Cook: Serve with a loaf of french bread, warmed and sliced into 1/2" slices or with crackers. Any leftovers reheat great in a microwave.
