A pork roast, cooked in beer until very tender, is shredded and combined with sloppy joe sauce, onion and mushrooms to make sandwich filling.

Ingredients:

Directions:

In a heavy covered pot or skillet, simmer pork roast in beer till the pork shreds easily with a fork (adding more beer, if necessary, so meat doesn't dry out). Once pork has been shredded, drain all liquid and discard. Now add the onions and mushrooms, cook for another 15 minutes; now add Manwich and mix well. Makes great sandwiches!

Notes from the Cook: I make this and use it for sandwiches instead of expensive lunchmeats; this recipe is low in fat and appealing to just about everyone.
