Black cod fillets are seasoned with a blend of fresh ginger, Chinese mustard, soy sauce, honey and toasted sesame oil before baking.
Place fish in a container, squeeze one half of the lemon over and sprinkle with fresh ground pepper and salt. Let fish sit while you prepare the sauce. Sauce: In a food processor blend mustard, soy sauce, honey, lemon juice (from other half of lemon), ginger and sesame oil. Place fish in a broiler-safe dish and cover with the sauce. Place back in the refrigerator for half hour (you do not have to let it marinatefor long, but the longer you let the fish sit the stronger the taste.) Preheat oven to 350. Bake covered for 1/2 hour. For the last 5 minutes turn the oven to broil. Once fish is crispy on top, remove it from the oven and serve.
