Pizzelles & Ice Cream

Softened ice cream (topped with chocolate syrup and sprinkles, if you wish) is spread on thin Italian wafer cookies called pizzelles.

Ingredients:

• 10 lemon pizzelles (thin wafer cookies)
• Pint of ice cream (desired flavor)(softened slightly)
• Sprinkles (optional)
• Chocolate syrup (optional)

Directions:

Put one pizzelle on a plate. Carefully spread ice cream on it. Add sprinkles and syrup if you'd like. Gently press another pizzelle on top.

Number of Servings: 5

Notes from the Cook: Take ice cream out of freezer about 5 minutes before you make them. Buy extra pizzelles in case a cookie breaks!!!
