Whole mushrooms are sauteed with wine, basil and olive oil for this tasty treat that can be served as a side dish or spooned over meat and stuffing.
Add olive oil to pan and heat. Then add mushrooms and wine. Let cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes, moving mushrooms around pan. Then add chopped basil and cook another 3 minutes. Sprinkle with 1/4 tsp of salt and pepper before serving.

Notes from the Cook: This is such an easy recipe. It takes only 9 minutes to cook, it takes hardly any prep time, and everyone loves it! I served this at Christmas and people were spooning this over their meat and stuffing.
