These croutons go great on salads or soups. Cut into fun Halloween shapes, sprinkle with seasoning, and bake.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Cut bread into Halloween shapes (bats, cats, bugs, etc.) using small- to medium-sized cookie cutters or a sharp knife. Place cut-outs on large baking sheet and brush both sides of bread lightly with olive oil. Sprinkle Creole seasoning on top. Bake at 375 degree F for 5 to 7 minutes or until tops are golden brown, then turn bread over and cook an additional 5 to 7 minutes or until browned and crispy. Serve over favorite salad.
Number of Servings: Serves 4 to 6
Notes from the Cook: Any type of seasoning would work well including Italian, Ranch, and even Parmesan cheese.
