Caramel Nut Topping

A caramel sauce with nuts that is easy to make and will go great over ice cream.

Ingredients:

• 1 C. light brown sugar
• 1/2 C. white corn syrup
• 1 C. thick sweet cream
• 1/2 C. white sugar
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/2 C. chopped nuts

Directions:

Mix all ingredients except nuts and boil to soft ball stage; stir until boiling then cook without stirring until soft ball stage. Cool mixture and add nuts.
