Tender little confections with chopped nuts are a Mexican tradition.
Beat butter, sugar in a medium size bowl until fluffy. Stir in flour, almond and salt gradually until blended; stir in nuts. Form into 1" balls. Along with the balls, I also form them into small crescents. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, or until lightly browned. While they're still warm, roll them in more confectioners' sugar.
