Maintain the variety of flavors in this dressing by sauteing each vegetable separately. Try it for this year's Thanksgiving dinner.

In a large bowl, add the bread, top with each of the sauteed items one at a time so bread can absorb the flavor of each. After all have been added mix thoroughly, add sausage. Mix in. Add chicken broth slowly and mix in until stuffing is moist. Fill turkey with dressing.

Notes from the Cook: Important: mushrooms, celery, onions, gizzards all sauteed separately. Stiff dressing loosely in turkey.
