Butterscotch Pie Filling

Don't use pre-made oils or flavorings when its this easy for an authentic butterscotch flavored pie filling.

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 3 1/2 Tblsp. flour
• 3 Tblsp. butter
• 1 1/2 cup milk
• 3 eggs
• pinch of salt
• vanilla to taste (I use 1 1/2 tsp.)

Directions:

Mix and cook until thick, stirring constantly. Pour into baked pie shell, cover with meringue and brown.
