This tasty quick bread with bananas, sour cream and walnuts would be great sliced and buttered.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, grease and flour on bottom only a 9x5 loaf pan. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and mashed banana until well blended. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add alternately with sour cream to banana mixture, stirring just to blend. Stir in walnuts. Bake for one hour and 15 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let rest in pan for 20 minutes, remove from pan and cool thoroughly. Wrap in plastic and store in refrigerator.
