Another important item to consider. How will the food be kept hot or cold? These are all important in order for your event to be successful. Ok!! with the plan completed; food saftey taken care of; jobs delegated. Now! read our book and select different recipes that are appropriate for the event. Remember the goal is to have a good time and not spend a lot of money. During the planning stage pick your maximum budget and try to stick with it. Use coupons, items on sale, two for one items. Sometimes I change a recipe choice because I find a sale while at the store. Futhermore, when you have an event coming up in a month look for sale items and keep them in your freezer. Good Luck! and Bon Appetit!
Introduction
Having a party can be fun and entertaining. If you have never hosted a party before you are really missing out on some great entertainment. It is not complicated, all you need is a little money and organization. The great part of hosting the event is that you can delegate responsibilities and make it a fun event and not a painstaking complicated project. When I first started I selected some some appetizers, main entrees and deserts and used them over again for different events like Tail-gateing at different sport events, baseball, football, etc and concerts. My favorite is a Jimmy Buffet Concert. Of course this includes the normal festive holidays and family and friends birthdays. Like any project someone needs to take charge and sort of develop a plan. Where? when? and what? Then write down what is needed and who is responsible for different jobs.

After deciding where? And when? now comes the planning. A theme for the food; Cajun, Barbecue, Picnic Food, etc., Or Just Pot Luck, especially if you are going to have people brings items. Sending invitations is classy and with computers you can now make your own. People are very ingenious about recipes and what the entertainment will be before and during the your event so let your imagination take over when it comes to choice of recipes theme, music and games. Personally I enjoy talking and socializing. Things that need to be decided in advance; are you stove top cooking? oven cooking? grilling or just making sandwiches and finger foods, or a combination of these cooking methods. Is your event indoor? or outdoor?. Next comes food saftey.

I talk to a lot of people who would like to entertain and host a party and never do because they think it cost's to much. I was inspired to write this book because people are always asking me how do I host so many parties on such a small budget. Well here is exactly how I do it..........
